About Stitched Up
Stitched Up is a 4 piece function band made up from 4 UK professional musicians who have a mass of experience working all over the world with a variety of artists and audiences. The band Cover everything from early soul to modern rock and pop, check out the listen section to hear demos of the bands tracks.
The band is fronted by Brighton based Mike Mayfield who at 25 is already a veteran of the business. In the UK function and corporate circuit Mike has entertained clients that include AUSTIN REED (Q CLUB RED CARPET LAUNCH ON REGENT STREET LONDON) TSB, HILTON HOTELS, ALTON TOWERS, NOVOTEL (TEMPLE ISLAND HENLEY REGATTA), TOYOTA (TEMPLE ISLAND HENLEY REGATTA) and recently found himself serenading KATIE PRICE aka JORDAN!
In the few years since completing a HND at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) Mike‘s achievements include:
Performing with acclaimed musicians such as Seamus Beaghan (Paul Weller The Madness) Phil Veacock (Jools Holland) Vinnie Lammi (The Spice Girls) and many more Playing to audiences all over Europe (France Italy Switzerland and the Czech-republic) and in the last year sharing bills with The Super furry Animals, JLS, The Levellers and also supporting Fellow Brighton resident Alice Russell on her World tour at the famous Spiegel tent for the Brighton Fringe Festival.
The rest of the band is made up from some of Britain&lss top session musicians, who have collectively performed and recorded with the like‘s of Incognito, Basement Jaxx, Jamiroquai, Gabrielle, Wretch 32, Plan B, Reel People, Mario Biondi, Carleen Anderson, Jessie J, Dionne Bromfield, Duffy, Daniel Beddingfield, Katie Melua and many more.
‘Stitched Up’ come as a self-contained package, so all equipment is covered and any size event can be catered for. P.A system, lighting and public liability insurance are all included. iPod Music played between sets will be provided as standard if needed to save booking a DJ.
